英語読書会のジェフです。

昨日の「Part III: How and Why Free Agent Works」の理解できましたか？

今日はPart IV - フリーアジェントのダークサイド(dark side)について予習しましょう。

Current laws are mostly employer-based and may increase free agents’ expenses and inconvenience.

In this book, Daniel discussed 3 major aspects:

1. Health Insurance - Current health insurance policy is what organizations use to lock their employees within their organizations.

　　　　　　　　　　Free agents are paying double for health insurance.

　　　　　　　　　　Free agents don’t have unemployment insurance.

2. Taxes - One example is that health insurance is an expense to organizations but it is not to free agents. (This book was published in 2001. Laws may have changed nowadays, hopefully.)

3. Zoning - In USA, industrial zones, residential zones and commercial zones are separated, making it hard to work from home.
