マインドフルネス読書会に参加しました。

おはようございます。

昨日友達が主催した「マインドフルネス読書会」に参加しました。

表参道にあるヨガスタジオで素晴らしい、リラックス朝の時間を過ごしました。

今日の「一つ駅で読める英語短文」はマインドフルネス読書会の体験です。

The facilitator guided attendees to pay more attention to their bodies and minds through a series of exercises.

One of my favourite exercise is to Raisin Experiment.

I was given a piece of raisin and asked to touch it, feel it, to smell it and to consciously recognise how my body reacts to that piece of raisin.

The interesting thing is when I paused my thinking and really paid attention to my mind and body, I was able to recognise the subtle changes in my body and mind.

The piece of raisin triggered some childhood memories regarding raisin and it also triggered my mouth to produce more saliva.

When was the last time you really eat and enjoy a meal?

Try to pay more attention to the food in front of you and you may be able to enjoy it more.
