Virus is an interesting substance. It does not eat and it does not grow. It reproduces itself when inhabiting on a host.

Virus, occasionally, will pass on to the offsprings of the host. In fact, our immune system may have borrowed the technology from the DNA of a virus to develop long-lasting immunity.

We also give virus immortality. For example, smallpox virus now exists only in two laboratories. One is in the USA, and the other in Russia. It is saved for better vaccine development, in case we may need a new vaccine in the future.

Isn’t it interesting to see how virus and human live dependently with each other?
