昨日はArt of Living主催する「International Happiness Festival」参加しました。

5000人と一緒に瞑想と素晴らしい音楽を楽しみました。

さて、今日は皆さん興味深い習慣です。

習慣3「Put First Thing First」です。

In Habit 1, Dr. Covey told us that we are the creator of ourselves.
In Habit 2, we learn to live the day by imagination to identify what are the key elements in the day we want to keep. (Mental creation.)
Habit 3 is about to practice what we learn from Habits 1 and 2. (Physical creation.)

Dr. Covey introduced a good thinking about time management, which is “organising and executing around priorities."

He also introduced a good time management tool, the "Important x Urgency 4 Quadrants.” (It’s time to get your book out and quickly check out what each Quadrant is about.)

The key is to decrease the time spent in Quadrant 3 and 4 to increase the time spent on Quadrant 2.
As a result, time spent in Quadrant 1 will shrink after time.

I believe most of us already knew about this time management strategy but do you know why most of us fail in practicing it?

Dr. Covey suggests the fundamental reason is that “we simply don’t practice Habits 1 and 2 enough."

Habit 3 is deeply linked with Habit 1 and 2.
