おはようございます!

「Habit 4 - Think Win/Win」
When you step from independence to interdependence, you are stepping in to a leadership role and influencing people.
There are 6 paradigms of human interaction introduced in this chapter:
1. Win/Win
2. Win/Lose
3. Lose/Win
4. Lose/Lose
5. Win
6. Win/Win, No Deal
2. Win/Lose
3. Lose/Win
4. Lose/Lose
5. Win
6. Win/Win, No Deal
Which one is the best solution? The answer is “it depends” on the scenario.
Most business agreements start with Win/Win for continuous profit growth.
However, you may not want to win all then time. For example, I sometimes purposefully “lose” an negotiation with my girlfriend to improve our relationship or to keep it from getting bad.
In some settings, there is always always a winner and a loser, like in football games.
Each paradigm can be used strategically for negotiating and decision making.
If you want to know more about how to think Win/Win, I redraw the diagram Dr Covey supplied with notes.
I hope you like today’s book review.
Do you think about Win/Win when negotiating or decision making?
